On-chain escrow

Disputes & escrow

A dispute freezes crypto already locked in the contract. There is no custody: resolution ends in on-chain release or refund.

My Orders

Escrow does not move during a dispute

Neither buyer nor seller can release or refund on their own. The contract holds funds until an arbiter executes on-chain resolution. Open a dispute only from the affected transaction screen.

Escrow → dispute → resolution

1

Funds in escrow

The seller locks crypto in the contract. Until release or refund, nobody can move those funds.

2

Payment & confirmation

The buyer pays (on-chain or off-chain) and marks as paid. The seller verifies and prepares release.

3

Open a dispute

If something is wrong (payment not received, wrong amount or network), either party opens a dispute from the transaction. Escrow stays frozen.

4

On-chain resolution

After evidence review, the contract runs release (to buyer) or refund (to seller). No central custody.

Useful evidence for escrow

  • Deposit / escrow tx hash (tradeKey)
  • Fiat payment proof or transfer hash
  • Buyer and seller wallet addresses and network (RSC Chain)
  • Exact amount, token, and time of the incident
  • Chat screenshots or payment instructions

Possible outcomes

Release

Escrow crypto is released to the buyer (payment verified).

Refund

Crypto returns to the seller (payment not credited or invalid).

Typical timeline: response 24h · evidence 72h · resolution 3–7 days.
